I will not be dressing up this Halloween…sadly, as a mom, things like Halloween (and Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year’s, 4th of July, even your own *birthday* for goodness’ sake!) are no longer about you but ALWAYS about the kid(s)!!! 
So I will be preparing my 4yo to be a massively awesome fireman, and I’ll just go around with him. Maybe I can say I’m dressed up as a stay-at-home mom?!?! Now there’s a thought…

It’s a funny story! I went to a new beauty shop and told the guy to cut and style my hair however he wants. I just needed a change and not to look like a 50 yr old woman (I am 42). He sure went for it and OMG! He truly butchered my hair and I look like I have a mullet!
Anyway, I decided to see the positive in this experience and dress as Beetlejuice. All I have to do is tease what hair I have left and put on some grungy clothes. There, done!
