I am so excited to kick of the THE PARIS SECRET BLOG TOUR for Kismet Book Touring!

THE PARIS SECRET by Angela Henry is full of romance, intrigue, humor, suspense and, of course, beautiful Paris! Please, stop back by later this week for my review of this fabulous book featuring: gutsy new heroine Maya Sinclair and swoon-worthy Frenchman Simon Girard — oh  là là!

By: Angela Henry
Publisher: Carina Press
Formats: Paperback and Electronic
Published Date: January 2011
Pages: 331
Genre: Romantic Suspense

Publisher’s Synopsis: Less than twenty-four hours after fleeing to Paris, Maya Sinclair is the prime suspect in a brutal murder—and targeted by the real killer. When she’s viciously attacked in the gardens of Versailles, Maya barely escapes with her life thanks to sexy French journalist Simon Girard.

Simon has been investigating the mysterious death of his brother, an art forger with ties to the woman Maya is suspected of killing. Still healing from heartbreak of his own, Simon reluctantly joins forces with Maya, who has awakened feelings within him he thought long dead.

Their search for answers uncovers the existence of a secret society, and puts them on a quest to find a missing crucifix rumored to hold the key to everlasting life. Together, Maya and Simon race through Paris one step ahead of a killer who will do anything to ensure some secrets remain buried forever….

Angela Henry was once told that her past life careers included spy, researcher and investigator. She stuck with what she knew because today she’s a mystery-writing, library reference specialist, who loves to people-watch and eavesdrop on conversations. She’s the author of four mysteries featuring equally nosy amateur sleuth Kendra Clayton, and is also the founder of the award-winning MystNoir website, which promotes African-American mystery writers, and was named a “Hot Site” by USATODAY.com. When she’s not working, writing or practicing her stealth, she loves to travel, is a connoisseur of B horror movies and an admitted anime addict. She lives in Ohio and is currently hard at work trying to meet her next deadline.

Check out the map below to click on the places Maya visits throughout Paris:

Angela says: I think everyone should visit Paris, France at least once in his or her life. It’s an amazing city so full of history and grand art and architecture. But since I can’t take you on a real tour of Paris, let me take you on a virtual tour of Paris as seen through the eyes of Maya Sinclair and Simon Girard, the main characters in my romantic thriller, The Paris Secret. Some of the pictures on this map are my vacation pictures from my own Paris getaway and all of the featured locations are places I visited while in the City of Light. I hope you enjoy the tour.

  3. Great kick-off to the book tour 🙂 I love that map it is cool and exciting.

I think if the ish hit the fan I would have no where to go. I wouldn’t want to get my family in trouble by going to them. Maybe I would run to New York and disappear. I don’t know my way around other countries. Great post. This is fun.

    That map is so awesome!

Used to whenever I had to pick up and go somewhere I would go visit my best friend who lives about 2 hours away. Today if I had to do that I’d likely go a bit farther, maybe a city nearby…

  8. Lisa Garrett says:

I would go to Key West because when I go there, I can truly leave my cares behind. I would watch the sunset at Mallory Square and enjoy a margarita at Sloppy Joe’s.

  9. Although Paris is always my first choice for a getaway, more practically if I need to get out of town, I’d drive to Brown County, Indiana and stay in a cabin and just read. Glorious!

  10. Julie Witt says:

Thanks for a great giveaway!! I would love to win all of this wonderful stuff!

If I had to up and leave town quickly, I would go to the hills of Virginia! They are absolutely beautiful and anybody could hide out there for a very long time without being found!

  11. Ruby M says:

Awesome giveaway! It’s always exciting to enter.
If I were to leave town quickly, I would definitely go to Fort Bragg in Califonia. It’s a beautiful little place along the coast and I’ve always enjoyed camping, especially when it’s on the beach. It’s amazing!!

  12. Diana says:

I would like to go in Egypt. I love the history of Egypt. I want to see the Pyramids and The Great Sphinx. I want to go the Sahara and the Nile River. I hope I am able to go someday.
Thanks for the giveaway and blog tour!

  15. I’d go to New York City. I’ve only been there once, but – as cliche as it sounds – fell in love with NYC. Loved it there!
